Fair Game (2010)

Posted by Ştefan Alexandrescu on June 16, 2011

Director Doug Liman, not a particularly wanna-see director, has made a great job directind this high paced docudrama which received an award for best film in 2010 about civil liberties. If you want to see the true story on how Iraq war started, this is a movie to see. Based on the two books written by the two main characters, former CIA analyst experts, the picture follows the story of two people who tried to prevent a war which was based on no evidence and got heir lives destroyed for it. If you want to understand how political and economical agendas join hand to make a lot of profit out of war, this movie will definitely help you. In my opinion, it is the best political Hollywood thriller made since Syriana.

Academy Award winner Sean Penn and Academy Award Nominee Naomi Watts give life to an inspiring and true story of fighting for the truth and assuming all and any consequences for it. For “the Truth will set you free”.

My rating: 8 / 10 (masterpiece). A must see.

Enjoy watching it!
